dc2r cluster !

Hey i just purchased a dc2r cluster and i was wondering is there any way to make the it brighter? the orange seems a little dull probably because i own a vti-r? And also the Fuel guage always reads 0 LOL.

I believe an audm dc2r cluster should have a light dimmer switch seperately

hey mate the backing silicon sheet is different for the dc2r.

as you can see from this diagram;



the B1 on plug A is the seat belt light where as on the dc2r it's the fuel gauge.

so you would prob need to change; the pins around in the plug.

Another way you could do it is change the silicon sheet on the back of your stock cluster and slap it onto the dc2r cluster. your gauges will work properly, you will however need to change your warning lights on from what i remember you the dc2r has the seatbelt and door ajar open lights the other way around. so you'll only need to change them two pins for everything to work properly
