    installing my amp

    everything's done except i dont know where to plug the remote from the amp to the back of the head unit.

    I know where it goes in the amp but i dont know where to put it in the back of the headunit,

    It's a sony xplod ca730x model....

    the remote wire is usually blue.... just get a test pencil or a multimetre, and test any spare wires on the h/u wiring harness, when u find one which comes on with 12v (or it might be a little less, dont remember) when the H/U is switched on, you've found your remote wire
    Keeping in mind there might be 2, one for an electric aerial

    you dont put it anywhere in the back of the headunit, it comesout of the headunits wiring clip

    could you explain that more?

    ok i have light blue, blue and blue with white stripes....

    which one could it be?

    its the blue one
    the blue with stripes activates antennas
    if u have an electric one

    And there is no harm watsoever in plugging the blue wire in

    So i lied, gotta problem with that ?

    well i'm actually glad i posted in a few different forums..

    had i just posted here i woulda followed your advice and cut the wrong wire....

    you knew it was the one with white stripes..? then why did u say it was the blue one..?
