    vtir compatible steering wheels

    Gday all,

I have a few queries regarding steering wheels. I'm on the look out for a honda wheel with three spokes rather than the 4 that my dc2 vtir has.

My question is, other than the type r wheel, what other steering wheels will fit from other hondas? for example would a cl1 wheel fit?

Also, I have been made aware of the possibility of detaching the base of the honda steering wheels and interchanging them, to make the swap simpler. so in my case i would be removing the base of the vtir wheel, pulling the rest off and putting the new wheel minus its base back on.
    Questions:
    is this doable?
which models are compatible with this?

    Cheers for your help guys,

    hiru

If you can change steering wheel columns (which I'm not sure you can), then technically you can have any steering wheel.

But for straight swaps you can have DC2R or JDM DC2R steering wheels, that's about it unless you go aftermarket.

if you change the steering column, yes you can make it fit.
