    hey , guys i got a b18c, p-72 si vtec.
    just wondering whats the VTEC crossover point? i think mine has been changed.. it kickings in about 4500? is that normal?

    vtir-/sir-g both vtec in the 2 ranges, 4400rpm is the first and 6000rpm or so is the second...

    what your expiriencing is totaly normal! have a look at the stock vtir cam lobes and you can understand why there is such a low crossover.

    A p-72 intake manifold come with 2 different runners and butterfly

    VTEC will engage at roughly 4500rpm and then the second butterfly in the intake manifold will open up at roughly 6000rpm

    when intake manifold is changed its still the same though...my mate upgraded to a skunk2 IM and the vtec crossovers remained the same!

    No wonder.... i hear sound at 4.500 and i can feel gforce at 6 thanks guy!
