    My rev metre plays up.

    Hey peeps, after i washed my engine bay at carlovers i noticed that my rev dial plays with me.
    when i drive it jumps to 2gran then to 4 then back 2 3
    and so on, abd sumtimes it evenb drops to 0 revs even though im doin 50ks
    whats goin on with my rev metre?
    did i stuffed it up when i washed the car?

    help appreciated.

    try pushing your plugs in, maybe is just a lose wiring
    the revs and speed is control by the ECU

    are you sure you didnt wet the distributor? when i had dizzy probs my tach was going mental

    its probably your ignition module (igniter). Its about $60 second hand...
    That's happened to me..and that was what i replaced and it was better.

    Sounds like ur dizzy has carked it or playing up.

    nuthing a good blow job wont fix,
    when ever you steam clean the engine bay its best practice to blow off all wiring connectors with compressed air. and give the dizzy area a good BJ as well

    hey dud...check your dizzy...it happened to me ages ago when i got my engine bay cleaned...
