? why is the mugen bodykit cheaper than the R kit?

these are replica kits right? Is the mugen wing the same as the RR wing or does it not have CF across the middle?

Mugen bodykit is only just rear and front lips, while type r bodykit replaces the whole front and rear bumpers.
Mugen wing doesn't have the CF insert.
    Those are replica kits.

I recall him telling me the mugen kit he has is the full front and rear bar and side skirts. However with the type r kit it is a rear add-on lip.

that is correct, was just explaining what the differences were. Package for mugen kit is front and rear lips and side skirts. Type R kit should have front and rear bumpers and side skirts. (and wing also im not sure)

    FD2R Kit

just be aware guys that if you want to fit on a FD2R kit... there needs to be modifications done

for the front FD2R bumper would not fit onto a FD coz of the front reinforcement bar.. that bar either needs to be replaced with a thinner and smaller size, modified which i did or removed which is not recommended

i modified the front bar by cutting off the sides and trimming off the cover.. then sprayed coat it black

as for the rear bumper, the opening for the muffler would not fit nicely with the location of your oem muffler, the muffler would need to be cut, and the muffler hangers modified

Nope, authentic FD2R kit won't fit regular FD's, only replicas that are made for our car.
