yeh they look similiar but its not the type r bumper
mugen have made a lip for the 09-10 models, 06-08 lip wont fit

nup, there is a type R front lip but only for type R kit
mugen is the only lip kit others need to change bumpers

Is that just the front lip that is new for the 09 models? Does anyone know if the side skirts and rear lip from 06-08 megen lip kit will fit the 09 models? It looks the same but just wanna check before I buy

So if I were to put a fd2r kit onto an fd1 07 would I need to mod the reinforcement bar? Not sure whether you were implying 09+ model.
