Bought a pair of OEM blades for my Civic. Wish I had bought them sooner...they're awesome!

At $54 bucks a pair, you can't go wrong.

Damn that's a lot...how long are they expected to last anyway?

Yep from Honda. Also got some blue coolant for $15 per litre. That stuff looks hot.

The wipers are a compound of rubber and silicon and depending on usage and weather conditions you can expect them to last up to 2 years or more.

Wiping your windscreen unnecessarily will drastically reduce their life expectancy.

I have problems with my blades in that they hop over the glass, rather than wipe it.

This results in half the glass being 'missed' and a shitty loud noise every time they wipe.

Its my second set of blades (which fixed it temporarily) but after a few thousand k's its back.

Check that the wipers arms are positioned correctly and if the blades fit snugly.

There could be an issue where your blades are being excessively worn due to improper fitment.

your right about the quality of the blades. they are excellent in durability, lasted from brand new till just recently.

Trust me...if you're not gonna go down the pod filter path, a k&n drop in makes a BIG difference!
