    Sticky throttle..

    the throttle on my ek4 is "sticky" when i step on it lightly, is there a way to fix this.

    Best way is to clean the TB, if that doesnt work try a new throttle cable. You can lube the current cable but the problem will most likely come back very soon.

    Sorry champ, but what is the best method to clean the throttle body?

    i just take the intake hose of and give it a clean out with a rag (if its really dirty) but be careful not to get any thing into the manifold, and then d=start teh engine and spray carby cleaner (or throttle body cleaner) in to the TB while revving the engine to get it in past the throttle plate aswell.
