    Ek4 vs em1 cat back

    Hi all,

    will a ek4 catback fit a em1??? Direct bolt on?
    (not including cat)
    I got mixed responses in the search so far

    how much are these?, drives me nuts when people use old arse systems, that's a 10yr+ system lol (a good carbon steel system is good for maybe 6-7yrs), get a new one made as that cat will more than likely be very old and of not much use soon

    best $350 you'll spend

    It won't fit. em1 (coupe) is longer compare to ek4 (hatch).

    Its aftermarket but its made for ek4 and i am wondering if it will fit a em1
    nothing wrong with a aftermarket system 10+ years old

    if it's s/s nearly 10yrs old, there's plenty, you are aware of what is in a cat right? (the inside elements do have a lifespan) lol

    exhaust systems don't last forever, it will fit if you can cut it and re-weld

    when I get cat back systems back its the whole cat back lol (pay money to do a job properly lol)

    this topic has been covered before (too many times by people with more degrees than me lol), search more...

    lol, cut, re-weld otherwise buy a new setup, will work alot better than 2nd hand junk...
