Aiir bag light go on when replacing a after market steering wheel?

hey just thinking about replacing my stock steering wheel on my honda integra 1997 but just wondering if i take the stock one out would the air bag light come on and is there any way to fix that problem..

To a non-air bag steering wheel? If so are you sure you want to take away a perfectly good safety feature for looks? Maybe get the current one re-trimmed? Or is it a track car?

If you still want to do it then you can just take the bulb out so it's no longer on... Or overlay it with a smiley face =]

if your so inclined on taking out the factory airbag sterring wheel for a sports steering wheel why not look into the momo integra type r steering wheels? dont lose your life for looks its not worth it.
