VTEC Problem after a full engine rebuild. HELP needed please. Thanks.

    Hey guys

I've just recently rebuilt my 1998 integra vtir with a b18c2 engine.

Whilst doing the rebuild I have add the following modifications:
    -Blox b series cams
    -Blox Valve springs
    -Skunk2 intake manifold
    -Skunk2 adjustable cam pulleys'
    -Full head service
    -New bearings, piston rings

I ran it in for a few hundred kms, and tonight I taught I'd like to finally hear the new crossover rip.

So I've revved it up slowly in first gear and when it crosses over I hear a very loud crossover but there is no power going to my wheels and the crossover sounds like the cams are spinning but there is no power.

Would any of you know what could be the problem? I am thinking it could be timing the cam gears and timing belt.

    Thanks.

arite so lately ive replaceed the dizzy bushes, and it has gone more quiet but there was still a rattle,

found the rattle from the bottom end again,,,

pulled out the bearings from the bottom end,,, one of them are chewed abit,,,,

i had the same problem when i did my head. i did the same mods with almost the same parts except i used blox cam gears. when i hit vtec it felt like the car was loosing power, almost like it was bogging down. is this the same problem as you? if it is, give the car a few more runs as the ecu needs to adjust to the extra load of air and dump more fuel into the motor to compensate. once you get the car tuned the problem will go away. is the car an R or VTiR

What ECU are you running? You can't just change cams and use the same stock ECU. You need a programmable ECU and a tuner to tune it.
