Well today, sanded my whole bumper and cut and polished it because after i resprayed it, it looked dull, now looks amazing for a first time diy =D
How many volts is that machine? Does it remove or lessen swirls?

It is 125 Watt thats all i know. And it should be able to remove/lessen swirls if you use the right paste, i will recommend Meguairs Scratch X, it will remove swirls and light scratches.

Thanks um imo i reckon you would need to sand 1500 and then 2000 and if possible get 2500. I found 2500 gritt sandpaper at an auto paint shop to finish the sanding process off before i applied cut and polish. So yeah you would need cutting compound and then polish, i recommend meguiars for cut and polish. I tried using 2 different cutting compound and does not work as good as meguiars. It may be abit pricey but trust me its definately worth it.
Also buffing by hand is no where near as good as buffing by machine unless you really wanna give your muscles a good work out lol
