    struggling to get b18c running....
    power going to starter motor but no crank whatsoever.
    does anyone know if you need to swap out the ignition lock cylinder with the key for the p72 ecu? wondering if it affects the immobiliser.

    I suspect it's 1997 but I can't be sure. OBD2A.

    Yes AU spec ECU. Will the stock EK1 ignition switch affect the ECU in any way?
    My starter motor could just be dead.

    OBD2a Aus spec ECU would have immobiliser. Follow ECU-MAN's DIY article to disable the immobiliser
