Im surprised Honda doesnt sell a diesel car on this market yet (could easily produce a golf competitor), theyre going to be out of the game in 10yrs as all the lil korean mobs have their models in existence with good r&d supplied

The main reason for that is that in Europe for instance, petrol and diesel are significantly dearer than here (currently about AUD$2.28 per litre for both, in Britain), and diesel cars are more economical, so a much higher percentage of people buy diesel cars there. The average family car is also significantly smaller there, for the same reason. That's one of the reasons why Americans have such large, fuel guzzling V8 cars and trucks - fuel is much cheaper there than it is here -AUD$0.73 per litre. Try and find a diesel car there - they are much rarer than in Australia.

Uh WTF?? Ask your bro what he means. Can't imagine mixing LPG with diesel. You get a weird cocktail that doesn't really mix.
