throttle lag?

im looking at a dc5 atm, seller says that its cause its a spoon throttle or soemthing along those lines.
my question:
would this have anything to do with a lag? theres like a small gap in the peddles and acclerration.

if anythin the spoon throttle body would help out, it probably doesnt lag its jus that honda's tend to have shit low end torque so it takes a bit of time for the cars power to kick and thats most likely wat your feeling.
