lol how do u guys get so high? i get average of about 6.3-6.5 with mixed highway and city driving.

btw vtec is engaged at between 2800 and 3400 rpm if i recall correctly, although it isnt really "vtec" since all it basically does is open an extra intake valve. ie 16 valves are used in "vtec" mode rather then 12 valves

I'm trying to set up my new record this week. Right now, I did 440km on 3/4 fuel tank. 1/4 is left in the tank, let see how many KM I could do with the rest

Expect to see some figure around 15-16km/L

The best I could do is around 14.7 km/L

i did 600km on 1 tank once, but that was all highway driving
i could probably reach almost 650km, but i filled up just to be safe, since there wasnt many petrol stations around lol
gotta love the jazz's fuel economy

Finally I got only 14.2km/L.....

I've got 6.2l/100km for the first 5500 km -- note my commute rarely allows/rewards gunning it. That's for 1.5 litre CVT. The dash reading has matched my fuel purchases/odometer very closely.
