    engine clean up

    hey guys, was curious if any one has tucked all the wires from the engine bay to be hidden, so pretty much the engine just stands out.. full clean as.. if soo, could you recommend some places for it to be done in nsw.. thanks

    i dont think there are places that do it.
    most people will just tell u to remove all a/c and p/s components. that that'll be all ur hoses and lines gone.
    then more people will tell u relocate all ur fuse boxes and anything electrical to behind the dash or in the guards somewhere, which involves cutting all the wires, naming them all, extending them all and solder back up again.
    then some others will then tell u to even relocate the battery and make custom brackets for it etcetcetc
    then u got people who also relocate their brake components and make new lines for it. or go to earls and buy braided lines and tuck them all away...

    in the end, its just how creative u are with it.
    i've done a little bit on my car but nothing extreme, just taken off the whole front end when i did a respray and hid wat i could in the guards

    benjamin the moderator use to do it. dont know if he still does it for people
    he charges $250-300 for wire tucking from what i can remember.

    yep, if ur willing to get rid of ur power steering and air con theres 50% of ur wires n hoses right there. Doesnt exactly require a pro mechanic to do that either.

    im curious, all these people who do aircon delete. what do you do when your windscreen and windows fog up at night in winter?

    I blast the heater. My aircon doesn't work atm cos the hoses are crushed.lol it works pretty good

    but wouldnt getting rid of the a/c get rid of heater aswell?
