    do EK's have 2 computers

    do EK's have 2 computers. One for the transmission and one for the engine?

    unless its automatic?

    I would say all EK transmissions are purely mechanical run , only that sensors relevant to engine speed/load/gear etc are tied back to the cars single ECU.

    yeh it's an automatic

    obviously there's the ecu and then there's another computer behind the center dash ash tray

    It's a black box of sorts....any ideas? is it a computer of sorts?
