06 Euro (Lux) wheels on s2000.

fellas, I put on a set of 17" euro wheels on my s2000 and got it serviced at Honda for its 120xxxkm service and was told that the wheels are not correct as it does not sit on the hub correctly (something along those lines anyway).
Anyone know if it's just the s2000 nuts that are too short?

I believe the centre hub is larger on the accord, therefore there plenty of shear load on your wheel studs. Plus there a shit offset.

you can have them on (obviously) but you will be putting excessive wear on the wheels nuts, as long as the are strong steel nuts it might not matter but you have to be careful of the studs as well

I had a set too a one stage. They do look good, but they lack width and offset. You could get a hold of some hub centric rings These knock into the rim. Unsure of where you can get them, but i'd say ask a few wheel places.

Hub centric rings can be used. But! from memory, isn't the S2K hubs bigger by about 2mms at the front? The rears should be same at 64mm. Any decent machine shop can machine out a pair of the rims to sit on the hubs if that's the case!

No i didn't run hub centric rings, i ran spacers on mine to try and improve the offset, Only had them on for a short time.
