    DC5 coilovers for comfort

    hi all,

I'm new to the forums. first of all I just got a DC5 at the start of the year. I'm currently waiting on some ce28n's 17x7.5 +43 offset *not 100% sure* that i've ordered from OTR. was a bit expensive but it's a short walk from my house.

any way need some help on some coil overs to drop the car a little and aren't too stiff as I'm kind of tired of the bumpy ride.

will buy used looking at around 1k - 1.5k cheaper the better I'm not interested in cambering .

    thanks

Why would you pay $1300 for taiwanese when you can add a little more for something of higher quality

An example would be Tanabe GF which are $1665 from jdmconcept

if your not going to lower your car that much. Look for something with softer spring rates.

yeah i only thought of lowering my car since i heard that because i'm changing from 16's to 17's it's gonna make it heaps higher.
but i don't think i'll go for a Taiwanese brand. if i had a 2 k budget, what other brands would be on offer?

hrm.. maybee i jumped to conclusions too soon. my friend has a twin turbo supra and recently put in some BC coil overs he got for only 750 used at import monster.
he highly recommends them. but you would think different car different setup right?

    any thoughts
