it is a good idea.....
pads dont always wear the same thats why when you get new pads on your meat to me you discs..
hit up some new pads then you can enjoy the discs and pads for longer without having to worry about any stupid shit ..
okay well i believe they do not wear your pads quicker unless you neglect them and dont get them machined properly. but when your putting new discs they should be fine as the edges of the slotts are beveled(rounded) to stop excessive break wear.
