Squealing noises from the engine bay

    Hi,

Whenever I start the car, a squealing noise comes from inside the engine bay but when i'm in idle it lessens and when I rev, the noise is even louder.. Can't seem to find where the noise is coming from.

    Thanks

i recommend you check the tension of your drive belts to see any loose and maybe spray some WD40 or put some dri lube.

    cheers

Do NOT spray your belts with WD40. If anything spraying water will help you find the source of the squealing but spraying WD40 will fix it for about 5 minutes and it'll come back worse. In that scenario you'll have to replace the entire belt itself rather than just tighten. (Experienced this myself)
