    honda eg door problems

hey guys my door pretty wierd atm , had alarm , alarm wouldnt even open the door or lock it, only immobiliser worked

i took the alarm out ,immobiliser everything .

the door still has same problem as before when i shove the key in and open only works on one side
eg. open using key driver side only driver side opens passenger doesnt .

also the driver side when i press the lock button it locks only driver side dorsnt look the passger .

so basically to sum it up each side works for it self. any one got idea how to fix it ? i searched no luck .

I had a similar porblem (my driver's side actuator was stuffed). Go down to Jay car and get yourself a new actuator, I think i paid somewhere around $11 for a master actuator 4 wires if it's your drivers side one, or get a slave 2 - wires if it's your pass side one, pretty straight forward to install, one you see if you'll figure out how it goes in

my one just needed a clean, use some wd-40 to loosen the mechanisms up once you've installed the actuator.

Yeah that black think in the picture (but it should be screwed into the door not zip-tied)

Not too sure why your wires are twisted together mate
When i did mine i just used the sme wires coming form my alarm and took the old one out and put the new one in the same way (on my EG)

If your alarm was removed, maybe they removed the control module as well. I recently installed remote central locking in my EK CXi (no central locking). Got the whole kit from WOW on special for $100, so if your alarm has been taken out by some n00b and they didn't tell you what goes where and which wire is which might be a good idea to start form begining.

Also your 3 wires will most likely be
    Lock trigger
    Unlock trigger
    and Ground

the other 2 wires on the master go to the slave to send the signal if you wire them in parallel (i think, not 100% sure) i just left them taped up

cos the job was ****in dodgey as it didnt even work .. i dont think the electricity for that part works ..

do you know which wires i connect to so the motor in the master works ?
