honda + sony, bad mix?!

hey i jsut got sony fx7700 and i got a teg.

IT WONT FIT.. well it does fit but there is no bracket to fix the unit in..
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! =(....my car is sitting in my garage with no center console looking very street racer with the light weight interior. lol.

lol, has anyone had this problem, basicalyl you know hondas they hold in the source unit from the back, where as most other cars hold the source in from the side, so they bracket they give you with the sony model does not fit.

it says on the guide if it does not fit and you have a japanese car please ring sony, but since its a public holiday i can't do anything. =(......

What you would have to do is tape the head unit ontop of the plastic pocket real tight. Once that is done, use a metal strap with a strip of holes (sometimes included with the headunit) and screw it to some metal part of the car.

Well, this is one of the ways to do it and thats what i've done and it works. Hope u get what i mean...
