    vtak still in cold sleep mode?

    heyy guyss quick questionn.. if any1 has had similar problem.. on my 2000 dc2r.. even after about 15mins of cruising around vtak doesnt kick in even with new oil and oil is full.. i was thinking cos my oil pressure tempt is still low due to cold night weather.. but then again it it shouldnt take 15-20mins?.. but then after words everything works just fine... is that an abnormal long time to wait?

    dw dude just wait... ps VTEC YOO...

    it takes abit in the cold to warm up.... pretty sure its normal... mine takes a lil while aswell....

    lol.... just dont race till your warmd up then..
    get your coolant temp sensor checked upgaded one maybe???....
    but on a cold night u can just let it idle for abit before u start driving and it will warm up quicker as ur not getting as much cold air rushing into and around the engine

    ahh yeahh ill just give it a warm up at idle im pretty sure that will cure it thankss man

    how is a mugen thermo a quick fix?

    please explain your logic.......

    how will a thermo that opens sooner to cool the engine more bring the car up to operating temp more quickly?

    thermostats on b series die pretty quickly.

    i suggest you go to the local autoshop and pickup a replacement thermostat. probably $35 or so dollars. will get your car alot warmer faster. due to b series they stay open when they are F$%KED.
