05 Euro Luxury - no ignition or lock/unlock

    Hi All

I recently bought a 2005 Euro Luxury - used it over the weekend, had no problems whatsoever. Yesterday night when I went back to the car, it would not lock/unlock with any of the 2 remotes. When I manually open the car and enter and insert the key - the car did not turn on - even the 'red' lights on the console did not come on.

I am told that it is either the batter of the remote or the battery of the car - the remote shows the red light when I press either of the buttion. I checked that I had not let the headlights on - its a 5.5 year old battery - is it dead? Getting RACV Roadside to look and jump start it.

Any comments are more than welcome!!

Sounds like it's the car battery, might need replacement since it is 5.5 years old.
