    Sump Bolts and Sealer

    Hello,

Does anyone know what amount of torque the sump bolts need to be done up to on a DC2R and what kind of sealer is recommended?

    Thanks in adv.

44Nm (for EG, could be same for DC2R) and use a new crush washer. no sealer is needed

I think he might be referring to the sump to block bolts, not the drain bolt.

I got no idea on torque, but i've heard "hondabond" thrown around as the recommended sealer.

Ok I've found some documentation online.

Seems that it's 12Nm and no sealer required just a rubber gasket.

The sump bolts need to be done up hand tight and in an order being the 2 middle bolts first then so on, cant remember the rest of the order off the top of my head atm.
