    ES1 Door lock

    Hay guys,

    Rear door doesn't lock with the rest of the central locking - any ideas what's going on?

    When u lock, u can hear sound from within, so i'm not really sure if it's the actuator's fault or wat...

    replace the door lock actuator. good luck as all the rest will start failing soon

    Poo! Any idea how much they cost?

    are the notorious for being easy to break or something

    just replace all 4 man who knows when the other doors are gonna fail. a set of 4 your looking at 100-200? go jb's and look around. yes my previous es1 had failed with the factory central locking, apparently thats with all civics made during 00-02 my ep3 failed too!

    wondering if you've made any progress? havent had any probs with the mrs es1 yet...knock on wood...

    nah haven't bothered, might as well wait for more to break - it's not urgent

    i feel a little jipped tho, car was bought for 10k with '50k km' and no log books... so suss..
