help. stereo & cigi lighter not working

    Hi All

today i put in a new battery to my dc integra and for some reason my stereo and cigi lighter dont work. clock works though.

oddly enough, i have an amp installed and it is constantly on despite stereo not working. this has now been disconnected.

i put the battery in the correct way,
i checked the underdash fuse, deck fuse, inline fuse and engine bay fuse

there is no power coming from the 15A under-dash fuse. everything else works fine.

    any ideas peeps?

the reason the amp is on is because your stereo is getting no power therefore the ignition not kicking in.
    It's jst always staying on.

Check the back of your stereo.. there should be a fuse there.
also again double check the fuses. when u look at a bililion fuses sometimes u dont realise its damaged JUST enough to blow .. so its not really obvious. sawp them aroud run a few tests.

    Ok let me explain.
    ignition.. (usually blue wire) ..
some amps will just stay on if its not connected. (in this case seems that way cause stereo is obviously not getting any power)

    usually cheap amps only though
