    Eg3 Civic B18c2 with P30 ecu

    Hey Guys,

    I ve just bought a EG3 civic hatch with a B18c2 engine ,
its got a p30 ecu i googled it found its for a B16c ,it has a VAFC connected ,
can any one tell me if the p72 or the p73 ecu is the best to run.

Is your motor using the Stock IM or aftermarket?.

If your using stock IM, then u better off running the stock ecu which is P72.

look inside the ECU if its stock then its the wrong ECU. it may have a chip in it for a B18C2

if its stock it can be modified to run a P72 chip so yo udont have to buy a P72

had a look inside ecu looks untouched plus when i unhook the VTEC AFC it does'nt run right and when it is connected the idle is eratic, so they have tried to tune it with the controller.
Do you know if the ebay chips are any good and suitable .
