Apexi VTEC Controller - Anybody got one/used one?

Ive been looking at these and they sound great and their quite cheap. being able to set your vtec to engage at what ever point you like. Has anybody got one of these? Id love to hear about your experiences with them. It sounds like a great performance mod if your looking for a bit more low end torque?

I read a few posts about them on there. They get pretty mixed reviews, mostly bad lol. The idea of them just sounds great that's why I've been tossing up if I should get one or not for a while now. But since I'm pretty clueless when it comes to tuning maybe I'd better give it a miss

doesnt this only make sense if you've got cams or other work done? i mean, from factory VTEC is set so that it engages at the RPM where the torque curve from the low cam and high cams cross over, so if you change it around you'd be losing power.
