    Gutted EF8
    Rebuilt b20 bottom end
    11:1 comp pistons
And fully worked b16 or 18 with cams etc
Will make for a seriously fast mini

What do u want to do with it? Circuit racing?
If so na is prob your best bet
But gearbox will be the most important part
Idd sudgest type r box nice close ratios and good final drive and lsd

Thanks Tinkerbell, thats some interesting reading. At the moment im going the LSvtec route unless i can get hold of a B16 for a decent price.

The reason im considering LSvtec is that no matter what engine i get i want to rebuild, im needing something to do and i thought rebuilding an engine before i put it in the mini sounds like a good idea. So i thought that the buying then rebuilding of a B16 is going to cost me a bomb whereas i should be able to get a B18 bottom end for cheap as i have a friend whos brother owns a wreckers.

    Thanks Blake
