MAsterPHO - thanks alot for taking the time / effort

the beam levels seem quite lopsided, maybe the passenger side beam is pointed down more?

Also - is there a wall you can drive up to ( facing it like 3m away to show the beam pattern on the wall?

buy a pair of headlights from wreckers and you can DIY, if you have hours spare and patience of a saint - unfortunately not for me.

Would love a set of xenon projectors with a black surround for headlight. *creampants*

thats because inside of the projector theres the metal cutoff piece which gives the cutoff.

Halogen has a cutoff like this \____

whereas proper xenon (HID) has one like this ____

I am picking up a set of angel eye projector headlights tonight for cheap and I plan to modify the projector to have the cutoff like a proper xenon.. xD

okay I grabbed these headlights up for cheap 2nd hand, since the halos don't all fully illuminate, which is fine by my, the plan is to disconnect them and spray over them with matte black.

See the cutoff inside the projector? It's meant for halogens, and it will give that standard halogen headlight cutoff - like the cutoff's MasterPHO posted up

A closer look at the cutoff.

    hope that makes sense.

Factory xenon projectors are a flat cutoff. like below.

The plan is to convert the cutoff to flat, and disable / remove the rings.
