thought i might add in ... bear in mind that these are 35W and typically won't be as bright as some of the other HID's you might see

35w is all u need brother! you don't want to be blinding oncoming traffic lol.

this new design looks da bomb! no yucky wires and ballast mess to try tuck and hide away it's all in one neat little package. my only question is longevity. how long will it last? plus if it starts to play up, how would you know/test if it's the ballast or the bulb...

anywhos, nice find, might give it a go when my current HIDs stuff up. *touchwood* hope not.

ok - just received them today and had them installed, pretty easy fit on the right side but a bit tight on the left.

looking good so far, bright and working well. we'll see how long they last

I've been looking for an all-in-one kit as well for the FD2.
I liked the bit where it said:

"3. This is a HID kit Only (consists of two HID bulbs and two HID ballasts). Headlights and Honda cars are Not included. Pictures are for illustration purposes only"

Hey, do these even have a brand? I'm kinda curious about how long they'll last as well. How much does a ballast typically cost to replace in the other kits? Anyone?

there's no real branding on them but the images of the kit are accurate - they look exactly the same as shown. i'll take some photos of the car this weekend with the lights on.

Had a look at them. Looks pretty sweet especially coz it does not require to much messing around with the installation. They are not that expensive either so if they go early it ain't to much heartbreak HID here i come.....

i saw those hey, interesting how the integrate the bulb and ballast into one. Was only a matter of time before someone does that.

My only concern is exactly what t3kno said, how reliable are they? I wonder how much it'll cost (if possible) to replace the ballast if that blows? I'm really thinking of buying some too!

They look the goods! Very neat little kit much better than the huuuuuge ballasts i've got on my car Lol ~ well worth $130. In terms of reliability.. they'd probably last as long as all other hid kits you can get on the market for >150$
