Wind noise? coming from my new wheels

    Hi guys,

I just purchased a new set of 17“ OSAKA RS5 wheels for my 03 euro. and I have to put a 6 mm spacer for the front wheels to clear the calipers and wheels(about 2mm between them). then, here is the problem, when i drive the car, there is a noise coming from the front wheels, sounds like wind noise but i m not so sure, as i go faster, the pitch of the noise go higher and it sounds like Whoooooooooo...Whoooooooooo.... and the noise is quite loud!!

anyone knows what the problem is?

    Cheers

alignment/balance? same symptoms I was having after installing a new set of tyres, got an alignment done and presto all gone =)

Should always do an alignment and balance after changing tyres anyway.

Sounds like balancing issue rather than alignment...

Does your car steering move left/right when you accelerate hard? (If Yes, then it's alignment)

maybe because the wheels stick out a bit further than stock and hence is disrupting the 'factory design' flow of wind/air around the body of the car?
