    I think Euro is more refined,Jetta has more toys to play with,and VW are much more aggressive than Honda these days.
    and the VAG is wayyyyyy easier to tune/mod compared to CU2..

    VW... most things are controlled by VAG COM... power window, lights, door locks.... buy VW (the performance cars, not the bluemotion or non turbo 4 cylinders) for fun.

    Honda... straight uncomplicated electrical work... switch, relay, light, done. buy Honda for reliability but less fun.

    At the end of the day,I think RELIABILITY and BUILD QUALITY are more important than fun...
