Still by the time you add a S/c or turbo to an F20 your approaching higher KG numbers anyway.
LOL. Yea true. Not sure on those number, some might include tranny, some might not, never know.. But even so, who said 50 50 weight distribution is better anyway..?

i read that too on one of the V8 build threads on s2ki - the owner said he retained the 50/50 weight distribution. i cbf finding the thread now

Yeah.. I don't think they used the ls1. Its an ls something but small block. Was supposed to be about 100 pounds different minus some bits and pieces that weren't going back into the car.. They recon the s2k in stock isn't actually 50/50 it's more 47/53 kinda thing maybe closer like 49f/51r But after everything is put back in including gbox and diff conversion minus wiring and exhaust. They supposidly ended up with a perfect 50/50 distribution. But there were no fotos of that.. So it's up to u to believe it or not..
I wanna find out more now.. Coz from memory they used the smallblock v8 from one and 6 speed box from another and it fit in without lots of cutting. Virtually no cutting from what I saw anyways..
If its true and u can keep the handling or mess with it enough to keep it similar to stock.. It should blow the doors off almost anything out there..and do anything u tell it to.. It'll be sick!!! Lol..
    I WANT ONE!!!

When I had my car corner-balanced, it was 51:49 (%front:%rear) weight distribution with me in it, 3/4 tank of fuel, and no spare or tools.

I stand corrected.. I was looking at a few other vids and stuff, and the ones with ls1s well the auto one I was reading had a balast in the rear to keep the balance taking the overall weight up by abit.
Would be nice if there is an v8 or v6 engineb gearbox combo that could keep it close to enough to stock that it could still go round a track and not just a straight line..
Most the conversions have only gone to drag strips..haven't seen any going through corners or anything like that...
Seems kinda pointless to do it to the S if itcan only do drags..
