    Private or dealer?
quickest way is to do a trade-in and pay the rest off through loan or financing it... dealers will rip u off, an usually its only 1/3 or less of the market value of the car will be worth when traded in
or private sell ur car to get the most cash back... and go from there through means of a loan, or personal finance with the added cash from selling ur car

Buy 350, then sell Honda. If you can't afford to buy without selling your current car then you probably shouldn't upgrade to begin with :P

    ^^^ doug speaks the truth.
do u want any other life advice while we are here? that burning sensation when u piss probably needs to be checked out, and stay in school, its the best chance to secure a decent future.

but seriously, if u need a car to get around in, then it makes sense to buy the car that u want, and hope that u can sell the older one in as least time as possible.
when i bought my eg in january, it took me 4 mths to sell my evo9. wasnt a great feeling. but its done and im happy

ad seems fine, how competitive is the pricing?
u say its only a few days, unless its a highly sought after car, or its a super great price, then cars usually take a few weeks to sell, especially in a deflated marketplace.
my brother took 7 months to sell his audi rs4, my evo9 took 4 months. then again, i sold a b18c ek in less than 2 weeks and i got a price that i was happy with, the first 2 i had to take a hit on

i think it boils down to what ur willing to sell for. it seems ur after the 350z, but at this stage, the civic seems fine. just need to wait it out.

id say sell the civic first than pursue the 350z.... 350z's have dropped price, an not sought after as much as opposed to the other nissan cars avaliable, eg R34 gtr... they still hold there value really well, average price for these are still in the high 40-60k tag, compared to newer 350z, goin for mid 30k

Its easy to find the car u wanna buy, harder to sell ur current car to fund it
