I don't see why not buddy, if its for d series, it should fit considering EK engine bay are similar to EG...
I think you may need the "aircon box" - its a black box that sits underneath the dash for EK ... Other than that, I'm pretty sure D16 ac compressor, condensor , air dryer and the high pressure lines will fit.

Edit: you may also need the loom and climate control ect for the ac...

if your car doesnt have AC its going to be alot of work installing AC dude. The AC lines I've seen also follow the engine bay contours very closely so stuff may not line up

probably not really worth it to be honest, sell the car and buy something with AC. if you cant do ALL the install work yourself you'll easily be spending about 1-2k to install AC

Some cxi's come with air con and some don't. It applies the same to EG's, some breeze has aircon some don't, some gli's has air con and some don't. I think this options was available when they were brand new in dealerships? Maybe some people prefer to take the air con off to adjust the price accordingly to their funds.

Hasto, when you pm'd me, you did state it was a "96 model?

    Good luck hasto
