Question [CU] Accord Euro Wheel Offset & P.C.D.

Hey guys, I have a 06/2008 Euro, is the offset the same as the CL's? i.e. +45?

I have done a search but found nothing specific to the CU's.

    And obviously the p.c.d. is still 114.3 x 5?

I'm looking at upgrading the stock 17's to 19's, i wont be lowering it, so from my limited knowledge and related searches (on here), a 19x8 rim with a 225/35 tyre would be about perfect right? I dont want any chance of tyre rubbing, etc etc.

p.s. real noob question here: the 2 after CU2 as i've seen several people note, just relates to it being a series 2? i.e. after May 2008? Is this correct or am I way off?

nah, the '2' is just part of the general chassis code. look at the code in your engine bay or wherever its located, it'll have "blablablaCU2blablablabala" in it.

be careful of the legal Load Rate... its 98... so there's not many 19" tyres with that load rate... thats why I stick with 18

    CU2 standard is +55 offset pcd 114.3 With 225/50/17
    LUX is +55 114.3 235/45/18
    LOAD rating is 98
You will need offset +45 minimum
and theres only one tyre size for that 245/40/19 or maybe some super tyres that cost 1/4 of the car

And that would increase the track by 34mm and be illegal. As Arthhra said the max offset is +45 (Unless you can find a +43, maximum allowable track increase is 25mm or 12.5 per wheel). I have 18's in +45 offset on mine and the fronts just stay within the guard.

When I was in the market I had some +35's fitted and they looked fine hanging with no rubber on them, but I think you might find a different story once they are rubbered up and the car is dropped off the lift.
