thinking of a front end conversion for my EM1

    hey guys,

just wondering if you guys know anything or seen anything done with an EM1 front converted to a USDM
EM2 front also know as 'domani front'.
i have not seen any around before, and was thinking maybe i could put my EM1 to a project myself,
is this possible? difficulty? ..info with getting the parts to Australia?

    thanks guys

I thought EM2 was based on a different chassis?
Isn't it the Coupe version of 7th Gen ES1 Civics?
It sounds like a massive project.
Would be interesting and unique though.

yes what i know is yes it a coupe version for the 7th gen ES1 with 1.7L motor?
but if it possible to do the conversion, it would be awesome.
and yes very unique as i have not seen one done myself.
    but would look hell sexy!

2-3k enough? i can repair the damage if the parts are damage, and i can spray myself... most likely have to make custom brackets and welds LOL, just need to source the parts

Your best bet is to probably check up www.civicforums.com or any other US based forums to see whats involved.

if its anything like ej8 to em1 front, u would need the whole front end, new supports made up...and id imagine a quite a bit modding involved as well.... iev only seen 1 em1 to em2 front end conversion, an not a fan of it, em2 front mouth opening is too small for my liking... overall, i dont like the em2, lol, just look any where original as the em1

so ur saying u want to convert to an ES front, as its the same as the EM2.

if so theres pretty cheap from wreckers.

u will need bumper, headlights, fenders, hood, rad support.

From what I understand the 'Domani' Civic is coded as the 'EL' and was only released in Japan and Malaysia, not US or Aus.
