    Any Ek's with B20's here?

Just wondering if anyone has installed a B20b (from a CRV) in their EK.

I know its popular to do an Frankenstein conversion (b16a/b18c head) but I just want to know if anyone has done the B20b on its own.

If so, what do you need to do this conversion.

    Preferably EK1 guys

    Thanks Guys.

What did you need to do it? Could you just get a front cut from a CRV and use that? from my searches and google, they use parts from all other hondas to make it

I havent done this swap but I recall reading something about needing to change the intake manifold.

As the CRV has a very tall manifold it wont fit under an EK/EG hood when the swaps done.

if ur goin to that effort, mite as well buy a b16 or b18 head an drop it on the block... b20 by itself isnt that great, only when a vtec head is dropped on it, than it shows its potential

My brother did a B20b swap when his B18a died in his DC4... My god it was amazing
he did the swap for 1100 including motor but that was B series to B series

Hammered a B16a, both using I/E... the B16a had headers as well

At first I was saying pfft, B20B from a CRV out of all things but I shut up afterwards.

EK I believe is lighter? so I'd imagine that it would haul... and even then a b18c head can go on later if need be

Like I said, the appealing thing was the $1100 installed!!! but obviously a little more expensive going from D series to B series since I'd need the gearbox, mounts etc as well

You should probably look into getting a better B series gearbox aswell.
