I got mine almost 2 months ago for $33500 drive away (2004 model, Auto Transmission, Paint protection, Free carpets and a 6 year warranty).
It's possible to get any car at a low price but you don't just go in and hope they will give you a good deal. You have to make the dealers fight against each other. Get a quote from one, bargain, and use it as a weapon against other dealers. It takes time and hard work but it's worth it imo.
The best time to do this is near the end of the month because the salespeople try to meet quotas around that time which is to your advantage.
My brother recently bought an entry level Saab at a price 10k lower than the RRP using the same method.
PS: I forgot to write that i also got datadots and premium plates for free.

thats a hella good price man, is there any good techniques to remember tho? like when to ask for extras and when to ask for the discount??

I try to get the price down before i ask for extras.

Bought it in July 2004 from Col Crawford:
MY04 Euro Luxury Satin Silver 6MT (came out at approx. $48k incl. onroad costs/rego)
spoiler, tow bar, paint protection, mats, 6-yr warranty, datadots and euro plates, metallic interior trim
trade in on a 1995 Holden Calais VS Series 1 (evaluated at $6k)
$48k-$6k=$42k
Bought it for $36k
Therefore, SAVING= $6000 (which was too good to resist)

Can't really say that you got a saving of $6000 because of the trade-in factor.
Don't really know how much 95 Holden Calais go for but they could have money some money from there.
