vTec problem

I think you got gipped by the marketing. Just because your civic sport has i-vtec doesn't mean you should be expecting a punch in acceleration after 5-6k rpm.

The same marketing hype has been done to the jazz. It's advertised to have vtec but does it provide the oomph after 5k rpm? Nope.

As the previous posters have mentioned, it's for fuel economy. Merely a different technology/profile sharing the same marketing buzz word "VTEC"

the HID's i got are GT-HID from HIDshop in the UK and they've lasted me 2 yrs + and still going, i wouldn't suggest going with these only because of the cost and i was limited to the choices i had

you'd be better off going to JDMyard and getting a set that they warrant

Can't remember the brand I used but I fitted it 3 days after I bought the car brand new.. and JUST sold it like 2 weeks ago.. so... it lasted me for almost 2 years with no issues at all? :P
