red leak from cl9 since air intake put in :S

    hey guys

i've started noticing a red leak from underneath the car where the pod filter sits.

is it just water that's been dyed by the filter or something else?

What brand is ur intake and filter? K&N filters come pre oiled so there may have been excess which seeps when warm.

did you buy ur filter/cai 2nd hand? coz it sound like someones over oiled the filter element. if this is the case just let it drip or you can take it off and clean/reoil it. i find that using the spray oil is a hell of alot easier :3

Power steering fluid is red, so is auto trans.

couldnt be power steering though because all the lines etc are on the other side of the engine bay.

i would say its just the air filter oil.

i would check your trans fluid level over a couple of weeks just to be safe.
