    Buying Headunits overseas

    Hey guys,

    I was wondering if I were to buy a headunit from overseas (US most likely) would it be compatible into our car such as regions and stuff. I'm pretty newb when it comes to media.

    power wise it will work, all cars work on 12v
    only problem i remember hearing is the antena frquency so you wont be able to pick up aust radio?
    also if you get a dvd playing head unit you may be stuck with US region.

    if buying overseas your better off asia pacific region so malayasia or singapore or HK they have commonness with australia

    with navigation if you are thinking about buying one with it built-in, try get a model that uses garmin software as you can buy aussie maps loaded onto SD cards.
