Classic 75-79 Civic fan seeks engine advice

Hello!

I have a '79 civic, but the engine is EN1. Wikipedia reckons they weren't using them until 1980.

So now I need a clutch cable, and I go tootling off over the Internet, only to find they are all "up-to-and-including-1979" or they are "1980-and-onwards".

So which one do I qualify as? Which clutch cable should I get?
