i had after market headers for my d series and 1 of the reason i sold it because i have stock cat, flange dont line up + after market headers are using donut gasket ?
that would be incorrect i used my stock Cat with these header, everything lines up perfectly and it came with a new donut gasket.
If your getting headers, you should get the whole system including cat. Just a header gives a tad of a benefit. The whole system working together is what gets you results. These headers will attach to your stock system. Yes the headers come with a donut gasket and gasket for the block and header attachment. Perhaps you purchased headers for a d17 or received the wrong header and that's why they didn't line up.
3 guys walk into a bar. The first guy told the D to get a B series. The second guy told the B to get a K series. The last guy told the K to fk off just get a V8 mate.
I bought these ages ago - Made a huge difference (with a metal high flow cat)
Great bang for buck
The only problem I have with these, is that the exhaust gasket is an uncommon shape, and i blew one...been using gasket goo ever since
My EG5 build "Try to move in with a hot easy gurl. I've got a mate who does his house mate when he gets drunk. This way you can cure some of the loneliness and also save $$$ on prosties. Just remember to act like nothings happened the next day because if you get attached your laterz mate."
Yeah been fine. But you have to be very careful not to hit big bumps or speed humps again because once it hardens, you can crack it and then you will have a really annoying exhaust leak

Hi, I just installed the headers in my car today and I've got a question.
Are your headers flush with the cat where you have the two spring bolts?
Because mine looks like this:
I've tightened the bolts/nuts up as far as they will go and I still have a gap and part of my gasket is exposed. I don't know if I have an exhaust leak but my car does sound a bit different since installing the headers.
