transfering interstate licence

Has anyone here moved from one state to another and transferred their Probationary license?
i got my P1 license in NSW when i was 17 and now moved down to live in Vic, i only have a month left till i get my P2 license in NSW, but i want to transfer to my Vic license. I will still 18 so will i have to repeat my P1 till i'm 19 or will vicroads give me my P2?

if i were you and only had a month left i would just keep the nsw licence till you get ur p2's then transfer over but thats just me.

yeah thats what i was planning. but was not sure if they would give me my P2 down here, or do i have to repeat my P1.

wait till your p2's are due and transferr....it worked for me..i got outta losing points and i didnt have to do a p2 test...but this is going from nsw to qld licence from p1 to p2

the absolute best way would be to call up vicroads and see what they say, ask them something like "if i have my p2's and transfer to vic licence am i still on p2's or will i have to go back to p1's" something like that
dont mention anything about already in vic and see what they say

sorry was really busy. well if you still want to know. i just called them up and they told me that i'll have to re do my red P's for another year. with the vic regulations, since vic roads "dont recognize anything before 18 years of age" gayy -_____-
should i go do my greens in nsw and drive till i'm 19 then transfer? since i'm still registered up in nsw RTA
